The forty-eighth meeting of the North Atlantic Economic, Financial And Forecast Group (NAT EFFG/48) was held at the ICAO EUR/NAT Office, in Paris, France on 8 and 9 April 2025. The opportunity was also taken to hold the NAT EFFG Workshop on Charging Mechanisms for Commercial Space Operations (CSO) on 7 April 2025.

Chaired by Ms. Alda Miranda (Portugal), the meeting was supported by ICAO's European and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) Regional Office, represented by Secretary Mr. Sarantis Poulimenakos, with assistance from Ms. Patricia Cuff.
The meeting addressed several key topics which included the revised NAT Traffic Forecast Methodology to be approved by the NAT SPG/61 in June 2025, the NAT Traffic Forecast to be adopted for the period 2025 to 2029 and the financial impact and potential charging mechanisms of regional commercial space operation (CSO) activities following the Workshop on 7 April 2025.
Representatives from Canada, Denmark, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, EUROCONTROL, and IATA participated in the meeting.
